Operating Policy
Article 1 (Purpose)
This Operating Policy supplements the 'Platform Common Terms of Service' (hereinafter the "Terms of Service") of the CoworkCity service operated by CoworkCity Inc. (hereinafter the "Company"), and its purpose is to establish the detailed standards necessary to protect the rights of members and to foster a healthy platform environment.
Article 2 (Definition and Effect of Terms)
(1) The definitions of terms used in this Operating Policy shall follow Article 2 of the Terms of Service.
(2) This Operating Policy shall have effect as part of the Terms of Service, and any matters not specified in this Operating Policy shall be governed by the Terms of Service and relevant laws.
Article 3 (Content Management Policy)
(1) Members shall not create, within the platform operated by the Company (website, app, etc.), any content that defames others, infringes copyrights, or contains illegal information, obscene material, excessive advertising, or other content that may cause discomfort or harm to other members.
(2) If the Company discovers content falling under any of the following items, it may delete or make such content private without prior notice.
- Content objectively deemed to be associated with criminal activity
- Content that infringes the rights of others (copyright, reputation, portrait rights, etc.)
- Content that violates moral standards or public order and good morals to a degree that is difficult to tolerate socially (profanity, slander, hate speech, etc.)
- Excessive advertising for commercial purposes or spam-like information
- Content that contains malicious code or may cause system malfunction
- Other content deemed to violate relevant laws and the Terms of Service
Article 4 (Member Sanction Policy)
(1) If a member violates the Terms of Service or this Operating Policy, the Company may take sanction measures in accordance with the standards below, taking into account the severity of the violation and the cumulative number of violations.
(2) Warning Measures
- Target Conduct: Simple slander within the community, minor violations of the Terms of Service / Operating Policy, etc.
- Measures: A first warning via email or notification and deletion of the content
(3) Temporary Suspension of Use (e.g., 7 days, 30 days)
- Target Conduct: Repeating the same conduct even after a warning measure, continuous slander against others and obstruction of business, repeated posting of spam-like content, etc.
- Measures: Suspension of the use of some or all functions of the service (posting, login, etc.) for a designated period
(4) Permanent Suspension of Use and Termination of Contract
- Target Conduct: Theft of another person's identity / payment information, criminal acts such as fraud, hacking or acts that cause serious disruption to the system, acts that seriously infringe the rights of others, etc.
- Measures: Permanent suspension of use of the service and revocation of membership, and proceeding with measures in accordance with relevant laws
(5) When taking a sanction measure, the Company shall notify the member of the reason, and the member may file an objection in accordance with the procedures established by the Company.
Article 5 (Restriction of Service Use and Management of Overdue Payments)
(1) Members shall maintain the validity of their payment method for the continuous use of paid services.
(2) In the case of an 'overdue' status where the service usage fee is not properly paid, the Company may take the following measures in the system.
- Immediate restriction of paid service functions
- If the overdue status continues, proceeding with the contract termination procedure in accordance with the Terms of Service
(3) Even if the Company restricts functions pursuant to Paragraph 2, the member's information, such as stored mail data, shall be securely encrypted and preserved until withdrawal in accordance with the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.
Article 6 (Principles of Mutual Respect and Communication Among Members)
(1) In order to protect members' information and to officially manage all requests, all business-related communication between members and branches must be conducted through the Company's official Customer Experience (CX) team channel.
(2) Members shall not, without the explicit consent of the member concerned, disclose to outsiders or use for improper purposes the personal information of other members (business name, name, contact information, etc.) that they have come to know while using the service. The Company's policy and details regarding the processing of personal information shall follow the 'Privacy Policy'.
(3) Responsibility for any disputes or problems arising from a violation of this Article lies with the member concerned, and the Company may take sanction measures based on Article 4 according to the severity of the violation.
Article 7 (Amendment of the Policy)
The Company may amend this Operating Policy within the scope that does not violate relevant laws. When amending the policy, the Company shall notify members through notices within the platform, etc., at least 7 days before the effective date.
